No. Loupe integrates with leading POS providers. Think of your POS as managing your store(s), inventory, customers and sales... yur front of house. Loupe is a back office system to manage your assortment, buying and vendor interactions. Combining a modern POS with Loupe will unlock transformational capabilities for your business - such as eliminating manual data entry upon inventory receipt.

Who owns my data if we use Loupe?
You do. Not only do you own it, but the confidentiality clause which you can see in our Terms & Conditions on this website clearly confirms that we cannot commercialize your data. We adhere to the international standard ISO27001 for data security and are proud to be regulated by KPMG. This regulatory standard is typically applied to financial institutions - meaning your data on our system is as safe as your money in your bank. Our company has to meet these standards in order to manage sensitive costing information that we store on behalf of our publically listed clients.

Are there specific criteria to join?
To join Loupe you must be a verifiable retailer with either a store or online store that we can validate.
To join the POS program you need to either be using one of our approved POS partners already or willing to switch to them as part of the process. We are always open to new POS partners if they meet our criteria, please reach out to our success team to open a dialog.
Currently, the program is only open in the US, Canada, Australia & the United Kingdom.

How long does implementation take?
The time it takes us to service you depends on the current POS you use, your choice of new POS, your geographical location, and the time of year.
Q1-3 is peak season for POS implementation and some of our partners can be booked up in advance.
