Customising Your View in Linesheet

This article explains creating a custom view of your Assortment. Linesheet gives you the flexibility to add and remove columns in your assortment; making it possible to create a custom workflow that is unique to you.

Default View

By default, Linesheet will load with a subset of columns, called Default View, to maximise page load speed.  The Default columns are:

  • Product Name
  • Owner
  • SKU
  • Linesheet Status
  • Buying Approval Status
  • Sourcing Approval Status
  • Purchase Method Size
  • Size
  • Unit of Measure
  • Material
  • Metal Title
  • Margin
  • Retail Price

Create Your Custom View

In addition to the Default view, you can create and save a custom view; adding as many additional columns as you want.

You can switch between views using the View button found at the top left of your screen.

💡  The First Time You View:

Before you have set up a custom My View you will only see Edit My View as an option.

Editing and Saving 'My View'

In order to create a custom view of Linesheet, Click the Edit My View option from the View dropdown at the top left of your screen.

Here you can select or deselect which columns you would like to see on your view of the Linesheet.

Click Save As My View to create your custom view.

⚠️  Performance Warning:

Every column you add will result in a slightly slower page load time as your data set grows.

Navigating Views Once You Have Created a Custom View

Once you have saved a custom view you will see additional options in the View drop-down titled:
My View and Default View.

My View
will open your custom view of Linesheet and Default View will revert back to the original reduced data-set, Default, view you started with.
