BOM Export - Last Modified Explanation

This article will provide an explanation of triggers to Last Modified and User Last Modified in the Bill of Materials export from Loupe.

Last Modified can be used in the API call to allow retailers to isolate a group of products which have changed since a certain date & time. Below are the list of reasons when Last Modified will update based on a change in Loupe.

Last Modified:

  • Commodity changes (such as metal and currency updates)
  • Changes made by a user (vendor or retailer), for example, a vendor updating the Bill of Materials or a buyer updating the retail price

User Last Modified:

  • Changes made by a user (vendor or retailer), for example, a vendor updating the Bill of Materials or a buyer updating the retail price

Important: User Last Modified does not include commodity updates

Note: Retail Data fields can be either dependent or master, as defined by the administrator user in Manage Retail Data

  • If a field is defined as Master: user will be able to edit the field via the UI after a SKU has been applied. This will trigger last modified if a change is made
  • If a field is defined as Dependent: field can only be edited via sku integration once a SKU has been applied. This will not trigger last modified if a change is made
